The Lalique design on the box, the L'Origan scent... applying it with a big fluffy velour pouf... it just makes me feel happy. Does anyone else here use Coty powder?

I first started using it when I had dance performances when I was younger. It was what all of the "older" girls used and thus it was *the* thing to use.

As an interesting factoid, a box of Coty powder makes a cameo appearance in the Hickory Dickory Dock movie (Agatha Christie's Poirot with David Suchet).

I hope that they never stop making this.

Is that the loose powder in the orangey yellow and gold round box, wtih kind of powder puffs on it? If so, that was my mother's powder of choice. We had a very hard time finding it and when ever I'd find it I stocked up for her.

I've not seen it in a while. She asked me for some just before she entered the hospital last year, and I couldn't deliver.

I always liked the smell. :)

Yes, it is! You can still find this powder at a lot of drugstores (at least here in the US). They usually only stock a small quantity though, and it is usually located at the end of all of the other currently trendy cosmetics.

Me too!

I just found my old box of it when visiting my parents and brought it back to Europe with me. I'm afraid it is a bit too light (Rachel 1), probably stemming from my goth days, but I have been enjoying it instead of concealer for nights out...makes me feel like a real Lady. :D

I have to agree, the smell, the box, everything, is like something out of another time, and should not be changed!
