There was a thread on deals on silk pillowcases on LHC - stupid me, I bookmarked the thread but lost the URL to the site! :drool: It was a company offering all sorts of silk products and dyes, all quite reasonably priced.
If anybody could help me out, I'd be most grateful!!! :innocent:

i dont think i know what link you are looking for but if you are looking for silk pillowcases http://www.tenderheaded.com/ is good
http://www.dharmatrading.com/ is good for all sorts of cool dyeing products and silk stuff... i want to get the sun painting kit (http://www.dharmatrading.com/info/sun_paint.html)

Well, that's a first. I'm always late....lol. It took me 6 tries before I realized I had to post the home page instead of the silk pillowcase page. Geesh. Took me forever.

If I'm not mistaken, LJ makes satin pillowcases but I don't think they're made of silk. She offers some great colors.

i think it would be fun to practice my silk painting on those Darma trading co's silk pillowcases... i used to do silk painting with my grandmother when i was a kid... i love the effects that i was able to make with salts and i would love to use dye resists to draw patterns on the pillowcases... i would also like to make some with that sunpainting paint too... i think that it would make for a good saturday

i dont have money right now but you can bet that you will be seeing me post photos and or photo instructions for this at some point or annother... im working on my wood carving right now so it will have to wait...
