I finally saw Stardust last night - OMG it was wonderful. It's been described as being akin to The Princess Bride, yes - if you love the Princess Bride, I'm sure you'll love Stardust.

There's a part in the movie that Robert Di Nero who plays Captain Shakespeare, cuts Tristan's hair, his hair is chopped and short, short, the camera leaves and comes back and Tristan's hair is longer than when he started! Yep, that's what I want in a hair cut!

I loved Stardust, Euphony. It was a great movie. Yes, I wondered about that haircut, too. In fact, I spent a few minutes trying to figure it out. LOL! Oh well....Hollyweird.

I thought it was so cute! It's because they were in the land beyond the wall, such as the same reasoning why the star would turn to dust if she crossed the wall.

Oh yes, the land beyond the wall is so magical and wonderful. For me, the movie was very much better than the book.

I haven't read the book. As a matter of fact one of my co-workers was explaining the movie to me and all I was thinking is that I wasn't interested because it sounded so girly. Then he said it was based on a Terry Prachett book - then I made it a mission to see it

Most of the time, I love the book better but this time I was very disappointed in it. The movie was much better. The only things I really liked about the book were the illustrations. They were beautiful. Yvaine had very long and very curly, blonde hair.

Considering how *fairytale* she was, she really should've had very long beautiful hair in the movie. That would've made it more - just - so...right I guess.

Yes, just like Galadriel!
