I've done one of these DVDs before, but I never did the 2-mile walk......I bought an older DVD from Ross by Leslie Sansone called Walkaerobics Walk Special Edition Deluxe....(It was 8 bucks! :D )

It has the Two Mile Walk and the Weight Loss Walk DVDs. I did the Two Mile Walk DVD and I really enjoyed it! It was easy AND it gave me a good workout.....I'm impressed.....haha :whoohoo:

Maybe this time I can actually stick to something.....:sweatdrop:

Walking DVD? Do you use a treadmill for this?

Yes, I'm interested in and also confused by these workouts...are they done on a treadmill or by walking in place, or..? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :whoohoo:

faerie and wonderlywroughte, no, you don't use a treadmill, you just walk in place and do knee lifts, kicks, side steps, grapevines, etc. The 25 or so minute routine I did is equivalent to walking 2 miles.

The tapes nowadays are called Walk Away the Pounds......it's a low-impact workout (which is good for my arthritis) and it's stuff that most people know, so that's what appeals to me....

That sounds great! I can't do a lot of bouncing and stuff, so low impact is good. :grinhappy: Thanks for the info!

I have a couple of Leslie's DVD's. Great low impact workouts that can still give you a run for your money in the sweat department! :lafhard:

Hairstorm & Speedy also have a Leslie DVD.
