I'm considering trying this line out, but was wondering if anyone's had any bad experiences with it. I've gone off of WO recently (I have a long journal entry to write about that at LHC when the site is back up) and tried the Sap Moss shampoo as a friend gave me a sample. Before I go spending the big bucks on my own bottle, I was hoping to get some feedback on the line.

It cleaned my hair VERY well, fwiw.

I've never tried it, but I've heard it is wonderful. Just a wee bit pricey for my poor wallet though ;)

My hair does not like the Sap Moss line. I've tried it many times over the years (simply b/c I'm a sucker for the earthy scent of Aveda products) and the SM line always leaves a nasty residue on my hair.

I haven't tried the sap moss, but I adore the Aveda Rosemary Mint S&C. To make the shampoo go further, I dilute it. I made the last 8 ounce bottle last 6 months, and it cleans really well, even diluted. It's very mild on your hair.

It's very heavy... There's a tube "spare" in my flat at the moment, but we haven't worked out who it belongs to. :purplex: I've gone CO (finally) and have my Rosemary and Mint as back up, so probably won't try it again.
Last time I had some I ended up passing it on to a friend who had just bleached her hair and needed all the moisture she could get. I think she liked it.

I love Aveda Sap moss shampoo (not the conditioner) It's been in my regular rotation for the past 2 years now.

I used it in the past, I wanted to like it but found it too harsh on my (then) very dry hair and scalp. I still have some, would quite like to pass it onto someone in a swap or something!

Thanks for all the great replies! I think I'm going to buy a tube and if it doesn't work out in the long run for me, I can definitely give it to my friend since she loves the stuff.
