eiyela thanks for telling me to go back and check my cp , I didn't bother because I thought I hadn't changed anything since my initial setup and the smilies were working fine, but I just remembered that I had gone back to put in my avatar and I must have inadvertently scrolled it up to the other option. (I have this stupid mouse that has a rolling ball and if you're not careful, you can roll over something and it scrolls things up and down, I hate that) :pissed: I changed my time the other day that way too.

I'm just playing online, avoiding precalc book-reading (learning on my own, with my sons to help point me in the right direction here and there) and avoiding other work I oughtta be doing.

Good news is that, even though I am shirking SOME of my work, I AM getting a LOT of laundry done. Just got a new front-loader and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It totally ROCKS! It is taller (and therefore SEEMS bigger in my laundry space) and I am adjusting to that, but MAN it gets the clothes cleaner and they take less time to dry. Just today I washed my workout clothes and they only took 25 minutes to dry. With my old machine, it'd be most of an hour. I'm stoked!

Good to see you (and everyone else) here, Steph! Thanks for inviting us! Pass a brownie, please. I'd like mine with ice-cream, though. Have ya got any?

Steph is doing the last haul of the major upgrade, and thus invited us over here, so we'd have a place to talk. LHC should be up on the 18th, so this is not a "switch". Same here on pretty much all the same points as you, SchnauzerMom. I like to keep my hair healthy because I want to grow it, but beauty products? Meh. Except for some skin cream that I make myself, a little face powder and some Burt's Bees lip balm, that's all I ever do or care to do, at least for now.
