I didn't think this one fit in the "nutrition" section.:lafhard:
Anyway, this thread is for sharing your ultimate cookie recipes! Do you have a special cookie (or cake! cake is good too) that everyone you know is always asking the recipe for? Do you have one that is so good you could die? Or something really neat that you can just whisk together in 10 minutes?
...And I'll be writing my favourite cookie recipe here as soon as I find it.:depressed:

It's not unique, but Tollhouse is one of the best cookie recipes IMHO. I tried a Cook's Illustrated recipe and while it tasted a bit better, it also was more time-consuming.

Yup, for chocolate chip I never use anything but tollhouse :grinhappy:

My favorites are the chocolate chip cookies from "Cookies by the Dozen." http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0446670278/sr=8-1/qid=1150388173/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-1811530-9635900?%5Fencoding=UTF8 It's my favorite book for cookies, the recipes make exactly a dozen, which is great since I'm single. Pity it is out of print.

not really "cookie" cookies, but one of my favorite one-two punches:
Really Awesome Lemon Bars (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/recipe_views/views/105890) followed by Chocolate Dipped Coconut Macaroons (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/recipe_views/views/11607) to use the leftover egg whites from the lemon curd

Also not a cookie, but Rice Crispie Treats with chocolate frosting on them are really good!

Tollhouse is great for chocolate chip.
This is a placeholder/reminder for me to go on a hunt (/ask) for the recipe for some delicious oatmeal coconut cookies that I put chocolate chips into (makes them that much better :grinhappy: )

MMMMMMMMMMM! :whoohoo:
My favorite is a cream cheese butter cookie with raspberry jam, or any jam you want really. So delish! Especially when they're still warm. I have no idea where the recipe is though. Too many cook books! If I find it I'll repost it.
The lemon bars sound so yummy. mmmmmmmmm

The EASIEST Peanut Butter Cookies in the World!
Yes, this really works, even without any flour!
1C peanut butter
1C sugar
1 egg
Mix ingredients together, drop by tablespoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet, leaving 2 inches between each. Flatten with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
These are my favorite peanut butter cookies, and SOOO easy! :)
