Hey, I got a notification that I had a Pm from someone named tizzian604 telling me they had a security report about my computer with a link. They had no posts but being the dangerously insanely curious person that I am I clicked on the link included. Im using firefox as a browser and it told me immediately that it was an attack site based on my security preferences. It defined attack site as a site set up to try to take personal information, or install harmful software.

In the link it had the names of a few other members that I know so I just wanted to get the warning out there. I dont' know a lot about this stuff but I thought someone should know. Is this something that's been going on here at the Beauty bottle? Ive been gone for a long time. :)

I got the thing too. Hijacked firefox so I had to force it closed. Doesn't look like anything was installed, but I'm running a deeper scan now.

I feel a little silly. I suspected it was an attack site, but I didn't wait til I was on my Linux box to click the link.

Well I come here about once every two months or so and got one from Goodfriend, only good thing about it is I am reminded this place exists!
I always hover over links to read their sourcecode before clicking, and this link reeks of attack!

This has only happened twice and both times were in the last day or so. I think I have it all figured out, now. I looked around last night and didn't see where I could make the member access settings to change the spammers's accesses. I came in tonight and bam - went right to it. I think I have it all set now. :crosses fingers:

I'm sure more people will be chiming in as they come to check their PM box, but I hope no one else receives a newly posted email (or PM) from any spammers. If so, please contact me by PM (here, not LHC). That is the fastest and easiest way for me to know what is going on here.
