I fear being stranded on the freeway, while driving at night. Sometimes I have to drive late at nights alone, and thats the first thing that pops in my head, what if??? lol.....even though I have a AAA, a reliable truck, and cell phone.
I fear losing my DH, since he has a job that can be dangerous at times.
I fear losing anyone of my children.
Fearfull of spiders :boggle:
I am not obssessed with these fears, but these are some of the things I fear most.
Care to share yours?

I'm not fearful of anything, really. Well, being assaulted, but that's a normal one.

My fear is drowning in a car, like driving off a bridge and going down in deep water.
How scary :boggle: .

Scared to death of junebugs.(very serious)
I am also scared...well, more worried about than "scared", of something happening to my children. so much is out of our control. before I was a Momma, almost nothing scared me, now, almost everything does to some degree.

I fear spiders, loseing my partner at a young age, and being homeless again. I am sure there are others but I can't think of them right now.

High winds scare me (especially tornados) and I live in tornado alley! Part of the problem is that I live in a moble home. It has actually held up real well in high winds (80 miles per hour). Not much can stand up to a tornado though.
Another fear is becoming helpless in old age and ending up in a nursing home, hooked up to a bunch of machines.
These fears don't rule my life though. I am learning to deal with them.

Probably what makes me stomach turn and twist the most is the thought of something happening to my boyfriend or our pets (our BABIES)
Or something happening to me, in front of my boyfriend, with him not being able to do anything :purplex: It might seem a bit off but that'd tear him to bits.
Or something happening to both of us and the pets being abandoned *cringes*

And I just talked to him a few days ago about what would happen to Moth if something happened to us. It's like thinking about who you'd leave your kids to if both of you died. There are people who you'd trust to take good care of them but nobody could ever love them like you. :(

My greatest fear is one of my kids will become seriously ill with something terminal or one of them dying. I think I can handle anything else that is thrown my way.

I guess my biggest fears are anything bad happening to my kids. Losing my DH as he rides motorcycle and I've followed before for various reasons and seen idiots on the road with him do some pretty stupid things.
My only real fear for myself is Alzheimer's. My grandma had it and I watched it slowly steal her memories and her awareness of the world. Growing old doesn't scare me but losing your past and your present is very scary to me.

I've always feared my house burning to the ground, and worse (of course) me or someone I love dying inside it at the time.
I've actually been obsessed lately with making copies of all my family pictures, cd's, and favorite movies and keeping them in the fireproof safe up here at my office. Scanning in pictures and saving them has been pretty time-consuming, as well as making copies of my beloved cd's and old albums (alot of which you can't buy anymore). I've gotten scary at home with this escalating fear of candles, plugged in appliances, exploding torch-lamp lightbulbs, etc. When I was a kid - nothing seemed to scare me - now this fear of fire seems to slowly be taking over my life!
I'm also scared of carnival rides anymore. I loved them as a kid but now won't let my kiddos ride them - I just know something bad will happen.

Thats the least of my fears! I could always use wipies, paper towels, napkins, tissues, or if push came to shove, a wash cloth...LOL :lafhard:

:boggle: falling. Heights don't bother me, but if there's a chance I might fall, or like in my gym class where we have to do stunts above the ground, I almost cry. Falling scares the daylights out of me.
And being alone. Being truly lonely....like without my best friend. It's like when a little kid is afriad of being without their teddy bear :sweatdrop:

OT- but since Notjo *did* bring it up...
A couple of years ago there was massive flooding in the southern part of my state. My cousin's family (and about 12 other families) were totally cut off for about two weeks. Her house itself wasn't flooded, but the only road in and out was. I received an email from her a couple of days into the flooding. The message?
"Sent toilet paper!" :lafhard:
