Well, if you want to get red hair, henna is great! I can't remember who it was, but there was a blonde on LHC who got the most gorgeous coppery red with henna. But I do remember there being a purple shirt on the after pic. Very nice colour combination.:grinhappy: If anyone remembers who it was, please tell me!

If you want to stay blonde, though, try cassia. It hardly has any colour to it, but if you're very, very light blonde it can be slightly yellowish.

You could also (I think!) Mix henna and indigo together to get a deep red colour.
I have dyed black hair and blonde roots. And let me tell you that it is REALLY bright! But it settles in a day or two and turns a beautiful copper colour :)
You can see a few mixes here

It also shows before and after, there are quite a few blondes there too

If you want red hair then you might want to try it. I tried the neutral henna a few years ago and got greenish hair. I want to keep my cool toned ash blonde so I go to a salon and have my natural color returned to me  Red is not good on me.

The first time you use it it'll probably be fire-engine red, unless you mix in something else. With repeated uses it should darken I think. :grinhappy: So if you want red, there's no reason a blonde can't henna.

Oh, and do remember the henna takes a few days to show it's real colour, so don't be freaked out if it's a bright orange first. It will settle and darken a little bit.
