After ages of saying "I'd never pay THAT for a single hairstick!", I finally gave in. I'd been wanting one of the venetian bead topped sticks ever since I saw the first one he offered quite some time ago, and nearly cried over not bidding on it. I have never regretted not bidding on something so much!
I realised that I was just going back to his store, and eyeing these sticks almost every day. At that point I decided that the next time one was put up, I would buy it regardless of cost. And I did.

I can't WAIT to get it :) I am so excited! And my hair is finally long enough to bun (more or less) and hold in place with my monkthemonk fork, so I figure a hairstick should work now too! Yay!

Yeah, but $87.00 for a hair stick?? OUCH. And people say my HairStyx are pricey!?

If you think that's bad, you don't wanna KNOW about my shoe collection ;)
Honestly, for me it's worth it. I have been wanting one of those exact sticks for a good six months now, going to his shop almost daily to look at them. Had I looked and forgotten, it'd be over and done; no point in spending a lot. But when I can't get something off my mind, I MUST have it.
Thank god for my fat consultant's paycheques. hehe

His simple forks are going for a (relatively) reasonable price right now. I'd say go for it! I have yet to hear a single complaint about their customer service or the quality of their work.

I, too, look lustfully after his three prong forks. Alas, I think the only way I'd be getting something from him is if I can ever get my hands on a BIN before one of you guys does.
Congrats on your stick =p

Remember people, these things are collectors items, one of a kind items, no two are alike, now how can we (or perhaps our significant others sometimes) put a price on such works of art?
They will only go up in price, never down.
And this is what I tell my DH after every paypal transaction  !!

Wow - you chose a beautiful one to go all out for! :whoohoo: And really, since some of his hairsticks go for over $150... $87 isn't looking so bad, is it? ;)
Cheers,

I love my Graydogs. Bargains do happen too.
I even got two seven inch forks recently for $22 apiece.
They work great and you can use them in damp hair.
My pair of Ebony spiral cut sticks are probably my all time favorite.
The guilt will vanish when you wear it alot.

That's not a bad prize for a Graydog like that, at all, so congrats :whoohoo:
