I talked to Kevin yesterday, and he is willing to do a group order for those who might be interested. His offer is as follows:

Buy 4 sticks, get the 5th free

OR

Buy 1 fork and 1 stick, get a stick free

Basically, it evens out to being around 20% off. Soooo, anyone interested? :)

Hmmm, I'd definitely like some ketylo forks, and I might like to pair up a few of my ketylo sticks (I've recently discovered the amazing hold when you have two in, but I only have singles).

I may want to participate too. But probably only if I can find someone to split the 5 stick requirement with. I'm assuming the 5 can be any variety of lengths. Maybe I can convince myself to want one more. We could ship to one house and then split/send the others from there. If I am sending, my requirement would be that I'd have to send to addresses in the US, because I don't want customs hassles (been there done that). Just a suggestion.

First, I have to hunt through the Ketylo thread on LHC to see if there's another stick I can't live without.

But if someone is interested in my suggestion above, please let me know.

Do want! I'll get back to you about it for sure since pricing may be an issue right now, but I am definitely interested in a stick or two.

Well, pooh. As tempting as it is, I just can't justify putting anything extra on the budget right now. Maybe next time. :flower:

Everyone can start posting what they want. There is no minimum order amount, so the deal is good regardless. Let the shopping begin! :)

At this point, I want just (1) stick. Tropical Purplewood 5"/small.

Sorry to be wishy-washy, but I am not sure if I am in this GO or not, since I don't want or need 4 other sticks. So I will lurk to see if this pans out. Also, not sure how to work it out with different stick sizes and splitting the different costs with the discount so any advice would be appreciated.

Hey Lisa? I have a few questions. :)

Is Kevin going to be shipping direct to us, since this isn't a minimum requirement group order? It seems different than group orders in the past, which is why I want to check. That would be a lot faster, and more convenient (for everyone involved, really)! Especially if some people know what they want now, but some people want to give it more thought.

I was also wondering if he would be willing to do custom orders, because I'm probably going to want a 5" fork, I was thinking in Aqua dymondwood (I haven't really thought about which color yet, just tossing out one idea!), and I'm not interested in most of the forks he stocks (most are 6", and most are colors of dymondwood that I already own).

Ok, here's the deal. For those who have NOT spoken to Kevin already, please go through me. I am leaving this group order open til Friday, March 6. Please send me your requests and I will forward them on to Kevin. I will have the order shipped to me and I will forward on from here. Special requests I will communicate to him and will let you know totals via PM. :)

Payments will be due the following Friday, March 13th.

kwaniesiam -- were you still interested in splitting the 5 sticks with me? Again, I'm not sure how to work out the pricing, since I need smalls and I'm not sure if you do. I know I want 1 for sure, but I could probably do 2 (if I can ever decide between pink ivory and the pink dymondwood).

I know this may not work out for us, so if I have to drop out of the GO, it won't be a problem for me. So if you prefer not to buy at this time, please let me know -- will be fine with me.

I haven't heard back from kwaniesiam, so if there is anyone else that wants to go in for a combo of 5 sticks where several of us can add up to 5 sticks for the GO, please let me know. I don't think she and I alone were going to come up with 5 sticks, from what I'd read. I want 1 stick only.

Otherwise, I am out of the GO.

I am sorry to hear that kwaniesiam is in the hospital. :(

Is there anyone who only wants 4 sticks and then I could order my 1 stick with you? We could pro-rate the price break over the cost of the sticks somehow, or not... Asking because it's not worth the shipping cost for me to order just one stick directly from Kevin.

That will work perfectly for you.

1 fork + 1 stick = 1 free stick
(the second stick you want will be the free one)

Has anyone heard from Lisa? I tried PMing her at LHC, and I didn't get a response. Maybe her inbox is full? I noticed she posted in the Ketylo thread saying she just placed a large order for herself, so I was thinking that the group order was off. I wanted to so make sure before I ordered directly from Kevin--I'd hate to screw anyone over--but I haven't heard anything, and I want my fork & sticks.

EtherealJane, I saw that you put in your order already, so as long as you mentioned the GO, you should be good. My PM box did get quite full, so my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. :(

If there are any others out there who still might be interested, you can put your order directly to him without having to go through me.
