Okay, I know I'm not the only MAC lover here. Let's compare our loot and show off our makeup prowess!

I bought a lipstick (Sophisto (http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/shade.tmpl?SKU_ID=SKU4828)) and some eyeshadow (Dazzlelight (http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/shade.tmpl?SKU_ID=SKU21149), Satin Taupe (http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/shade.tmpl?SKU_ID=SKU4043)) today... I'm considering Sumptuous Olive (http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/shade.tmpl?SKU_ID=SKU17087), but am undecided. I'll probably go for it, but later.

kimberlily, have you used / do you use MAC's brushes? I'm looking for a good all-over-face powder brush that does not shed.

I've never tried MAC makeup, actually... I might have a poke through the eyeshadow shades, though. :) I could use a new smoky shade.

Rae, their brushes are good, but I'm not a fan of the face brush I have. It does shed, but that could be due to age (I've had it for 5 or 6 years at least). I like the other MAC brushes I've got though.

I have the tapered face brush (138) which I love. It's great for blusher, shading or powder as the tapered shape hold pigment/powder all around the brush rather than just on the top (if that makes any sense). I haven't had any shedding from it either.

Oooh and on the subject of MAC...I am totally LOVING the creme eyeliner and lovely soft shades of eye shadow I got from an undisclosed source  a while ago! I still go to my make up every morning and still can't decide which ones to wear! :lafhard:

I love their shadows. Jest is my HG, but I also wear Satin Taupe on a regular basis. My fav product of theirs is pigments though. I have Goldenaire, Pastorale, Sunnydaze, Vanilla, Shimmertime, Tan...I've also enjoyed using Fluidline though currently my pocketbook can't afford it.

I love MAC!:soppy:

My current modest but beloved MAC stash:

Eyeshadows-
Carbon, Ricepaper, Shroom, All that glitters, Gleam, Amber Lights, Humid, Swimming, Antiqued, Expensive Pink

Lipstick-
Pretty Please

Lipglasses-
C-Thru, Wonderstruck

Blushes-
Fleur Power, Peachtwist

Foundations-
Studio Tech, Studio Stick, Studio Sculpt (HG)

Concealer-
Studio sculpt concealer

Mascara-
Zoomlash, Plushlash

My next several purchases when I can afford it will be greensmoke e/s, beautymarked e/s, electric eel e/s, freshwater e/s, star by night e/s.

What I do to add to my collection is I give myself $25 every month so spend at MAC- if I buy one eyeshadow, then I put the change in an envelope to spend either next month or at a later date if I'm saving up something big. Some months I don't spend anything at all, but I always put the money aside for that purpose. In one year that gives me a total of $300, not nearly as much others may spend, but definately nothing to sneeze at either.

I have to say I will happily join this appreciation club, I love MAC.

My nummies are:

Eyeshadows: I only have one palette 'Warm Smoky Eyes' but it includes Next to Nothing which is my HG nude shade. There are 3 other browns with it, one of which is almost black and has metallic copper sparkles in it. I also have an empty eyeshadow palette but I dont have anything in it right now, apart from one old pan of Juxt. I really want Knight Divine, Gesso, Greensmoke, Humid and PLumage :)
I also neeeeed Smut!
Lipsticks: Russian Red (my HG true red) CB96 (my HG flaming copper), Ruby Darling, O, Shag, F*tish (HG brown), Jest (HG shimmer orange), Lady Danger, Ladybug (HG muted red), Cyber (HG gothic shade, a fab purple-black), Honey Flower. My HG nude shade in lipsticks is a L'Oreal I'm afraid! I also have Pro Longwear in Lishious but I dont like the texture. I am dying to try Morange.

Foundations: I own Select Tint spf 15, regular Select Foundation, Moistureblend, and Studio Fix, all in NW15, which is pale with warm tones. I really want to try Studio Sculpt gel foundation.

Powder: I have a Blot powder, but I lost it. I need to replace it as it was FABULOUS.

Eyeliners: Buried Treasure (HG black-bronze), Tarnish (HG green-black) Jade Way, Navy Stain, Smolder (HG true black) Teddy, Graphblack technakohl.

Lip liners: Subculture. Spice is too dark for me.

Blush: I looove MAC blush. I have Foolish Me, Margin and Springsheen. I am coveting Sunbasque.

My current fav is 100 Strokes. This is an exact mix between Satin Taupe and Trax. It's gorgeous! (If you know, you needed to be enabled lol)

I am a MAC fan for life!!
Their Russian Red matte lipstick is, in my opinion, the best red lipstick on the market. After trying dozens of different drugstore brands, & finding that they all either weren't bright enough or would fade to pink after a few hours, I finally discovered Russian Red & was immediately sold.
I also use their blot powder, which is perfect for applying over shiny sunscreen.

I love their blushes! They're so pigmented and seem to last from morning to evening. I also own one of their brushes, the kabuki brush, which I use for the blush application.
