Help with sig picture

Somebody please help me with my sig picture one minute it's there then it's a link . I have tried ... then ...
What am I doing wrong?

Did you go to the Edit Signature page, then click on the 'Image' icon and insert your URL? If I do that I can see your pic, like this ---> http://tinypic.com/143q33n.jpg

Umm it's some dead carcass the other beagle brought home it was all dried up and quite gross but obviously not to Merlin.:drool:

Oh yay it works! I admit your question had me stumped for a minute since I tried the [IMG] tags and they didn't work.

Thank you yes Merly [his nickname] is a cutie. I now have a brand new avatar too my old avatar from LHC has too many kb's and I couldn't work out how to change it , this one's ok for here.

I had the same problem. Switching it from a .PNG file to a .JPG file was all I needed to do. Perhaps you could try that?

Okay, I popped the url for my image for my siggy into the place that popped up when I clicked the image button. It only shows a box with and x on my user cp.
So, now.... I need to ask, can anyone see the thing??

I just don't know what to do. My computer knoweledge is scanty, to put it nicely. I followed the directions that I was given. Used the addy provided by Photobucket and all I get is an X.

Going off to throw my computer off the deck, now..... :pissed:

Yay! It works, now!! Snowy is a Genius!! She gave me some idiot-proof instructions even I could follow. :flower:

And she saved my computer from becoming intimately aquainted with the forest floor....:innocent:

Yeppers, that's the one. Snowy helped me out with some rocking idiot-proof directions and now I have a cute little glittername. :grinhappy:

One of these days, I am going to pick up a digital camera and try pictures. But, one thing at a time, it's all my poor little brain can handle. :lafhard: :geek:

Your avatar should end in one of the following ways:
.jpeg
.jpg
.bmp
.gif
.png

If you save it as a .jpg, it should shrink the file size it down so you can use it.

...or, if you upload the picture to Photobucket, or the like, I can do it for you.
