I have luggage under my eyes that I need to cover up. I've tried so many concealers that I am afraid there's nothing on the market that I haven't tried!
I'm looking for a good concealer that will cover my circles without looking cakey, but has some staying power. Any suggestions?

The best staying power one that I have found is Stila. Get it at Sephora.com I have used BE (Bare Escentuals) Bisque and that does a pretty good job. Burts Beest wears off, but is creamy and decent. Definitely, for me, Stila does the job.

I like the Clinique concealers as well.
Also Pure Luxe has their "color correction" powders which are *awesome* as concealers. The yellow works magic under my eyes and the green covers red spots. They sell samples, you should give them a try and see if they work for you.

I am the Queen of Dark Circles :lafhard:. I use Benefit Lemonaid as a yellow concealor and then BE Bisque applied with a small concealor brush over it. Prescriptives has a crayon that comes in yellow that works well and also a concealor crayon in different shades. That works well too.

I have one of BE's concealers... called Well Rested. It doesn't do anything for me. I should put it up for swap!
Tried Benefit Lemon Aid, and it creased badly, so it went back to Sephora.
Not sure if I want to try Clinique. I'm sensitive to something in their foundation and it made me break out in hives.
I'll check out Stila, since I've never tried it, as well as Pure Luxe (that's a MMU, right?). I'm not willing to give up on MMU, since I've heard such great things about it, but BE doesn't float my boat, kwim?

Another Clinique rec.:grinhappy: Also, the best thing for dark circles is actually a hilighting pen, save the concealer for blemish marks. There are a few really good ones on the market, I use Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat. It's probably the most pricey one, but you need literally a slight touch. Mary kay has one too, I believe.

I have very dark circles under my eyes and I have also used BE Well Rested and it didn't work for me either, I think it is more of a eyeshadow than a color corrector/concealer. I use SunCat MMU SunRise and SunLight to cover my dark circles.

Well-Rested didn't work for me because it wasn't a good match with my skin tone. I get the best results from BE Butterfly, it's an eyeshadow and quite yellow in the jar but goes on fairly neutral and covers really well for me.
I second the recommendation for YSL Touche Eclat, I get it from QVC. EL also makes a similar product, but I like the YSL one best.

I didnt like BE either.. or the benefit. The only clinique I liked was the acne one (EDIT: not for under eye). Ive tried about everything and I like burts bees and Lancome.
I had an awesome highlighting cream once, but my fingers had worn of the gold label (on a little white tube) by the time I finished it. Ive tried a TON and nothing has come even close the the one I had... maybe i'll try Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat.

I've never met a concealer that I liked. I use my foundation in a slightly lighter color. Let it dry, then use regular foundation on face. Then your powder.
I like to use a little white shadow at inside corner of eyes and VERY lightly on side of nose next to eyes. You don't want it to be obvious when you go into sunlight so a light hand is best. But it really brightens the eyes. HTH

I use my current shade of MMU as concealer. I love that it's an exact match. I get different results depending on the type of brush I use -- taklon seems to turn the MMU into a cream so I get a very light "paint" consistency; natural hair makes it go on lighter and more powdery so I have to do less blending.

My method is quite similar. But before I put on my MMU with the taklon brush, I mix a little Monistat anti-chafing gel with yellow correcting powder (mine if from MAD minerals). I blend this under my eyes and into my forehead lines. Then I put foundation powder over. I don't get much color coverage from the gel/corrector mix, but it keeps anything from looking cakey. If I have especially dark circles, I put a little of the yellow corrector on dry (with the taklon brush).

I usually put on a very light cover of foundation, then I apply the concealer. I use PureLuxe Primer. It goes on silky and creamy and then turns into a soft powder. I apply a bit of blush and then take my flocked sponge and buff a bit. It gives an airbrushed effect. I really love suncat's MMU .

I also apply my corrector/concealer with a small taklon brush as it gives better coverage. I also use the taklon brush on any problem areas I need to cover. It does make the MMU more creamy in texture.
ETA: I dont like concealer forumulas as I find them too heavy. The SunRise is a yellow based color to cover dark circles, redness and pigmentation and is not heavy at all but provides good coverage without looking cakey which I can't stand.

I like Physician's Formula Cover Tox Ten in Yellow. It doesn't cake up like most other concealors do on me.

I really like Clinique concealers.
Me too. The secret isnt to rub them in but to blot them on. I always want to rub them in and then it makes it look bad especially when it settles in the lines and look worse.

I have a challenge with this, too -- not only do I have what look like bruises under my eyes, but my skin is very dry.
I've used Clinique's, and Estee Lauder's (they make the only department store foundation I like...$$$, but great), and a few others, but right now, I like a drugstore brand best. Revlon's age defying concealer, in the little red compact, in the "neutralizer" shade. It's creamy enough to blot on without caking, and covers better than any others I've tried recently.

I've tried them all and my most favorite concealer is made by Mary Kay. Now, I'm not normally a MK fan, but their concealers are top notch. I use the 'yellow' shade and it covers pimples beautifully. If I want to use it under my eyes for circles, I mix it with a bit of moisturizer or undereye cream. Heaven!

I found Touche Eclat was just perfect for me, but the brush on mine went moldy (ew) and I can't afford to replace it- do you know who else does similar things? (Can you get Mary Kay online?)

Meezer, do you have the exact name of the concealor on hand?

Well, I got some Pure Luxe samples, and I have two different concealers. One is the banana split powder, and the other is banana split cream. Neither does the job :rain: On the bright side, I like the MMU itself... still need a concealer though. I'll try them again, and maybe layer more of teh MMU foundation overtop. Maybe that will do the trick...

My sister likes the Benefit Lemonaid, it works great for her.I've used Lemonaid for quite a while too and like it. Benefit has several other concealor products I like too. The Bo-ing and the It Stick are great too.
