Why won't LHC let me log in??

I'm sorry to be repetitive/whiney, but...
when I try to log in, it says, "you have entered an invalid username or password."

:gurn:Now I cannot remember what my password is. I thought I knew it, and after many, many attempts none of them make sense.


:gurn:When I try to request my password, it says, "You have not entered an email address that we recognize."

:gurn:See, when I originally registered at LHC, I had to use my school district work email addy. My free account at Yahoo was not accepted. My school dist. email has some kind of security level that doesn't let me receive outside emails, so I think that could likely be a problem even if LHC did try to e me my password.
When I originally registered, it took many attempts because of the stupid school dist. address.

:gurn:I can't even remember anymore, although I am almost certain I was not able to, maybe I was finally able to use my Yahoo address to register.

SueBee, I just accessed the site, and could login with no problem (but that was about all it let me do for now).
For now, I wouldn't put too much thought and worry into it - maybe it has something to do with the system not up and running yet.

I do get a main page and it says,
"Sorry, the board is unavailable at the moment while we are testing some functionality.
We will be back soon..."


Above that, in the top right corner it has a place where one can log in. Of course that's where I am having problems. I suppose that's possibly because the site is still not quite working yet. However, I thought I'd seen where others said they were able to log in.

Yes, LHC is down and has been down for about a month now. It's not letting anyone in, so don't feel left out.

Hmm, it's not letting me in at all, I've tried bookmarks, typing the urls, everything.

Dulci- have you tried it with the word "forums." in front of the address? :flower:

Dulci, I checked your settings and everything looks OK. Let me know if KK's suggestion doesn't work or if you're still having problems.

Google got me in, typing the urls didn't help at all (I'm using firefox). Thanks for the help y'all!

I'm glad you made it in! I wonder if you had that problem a lot of us had before, the host file address was incorrect in many of our computers and it had to be manually removed.

A lot of us had used that as a fix to get in during a down time a while back. Had it been quite a few months since you'd logged in?
