I have been using microdermabrasion cloths and it's time to replace them. I was thinking about Skinvac (http://www.skinvac.com/) cloths and was interested in others' experiences.

Who uses these? What was your skin like before/after?

Did it get worse before it got better?

Which of the three or combination of the three do you use and how?

Has anyone tried them on other parts of the body (armpits, bikini line) to...say...help with ingrown hairs?

Any other tid bits you have learned by using them would be welcome toq.

TIA!!!

I'm fairly new to skinvac, I've been using mine for about 3 weeks now.

I ordered all of them.

I use the daily cleansing one daily (or there abouts, sometimes I'm slack). I really like it my face feels clean and I've taken to using less moisturiser.

The acne one, I use probably every other day, sometimes after the cleansing one to rub over my problem areas, sometimes I just use this one in the shower alone with no daily cleanser.

I've used the microdermabrasion about 4 times, once a weekish after the daily cleansing wipe.

ETA: my skin has only gotten better and I have only tried them on my face, I'm going to buy some more and then I'll use the first lot on other parts, I'm only using these on my face atm

Ah thanks. I think it takes a true military mind to view the issue correctly.

I ordered all three about a month ago. Love the exfoliating - have to be careful not to over do. The pore gripper I'm so so on, I haven't really noticed a difference in pores. The cleaning cloth is nice, but is it better than a wash cloth - again I'm slightly on the fence. They are expensive for what you get. In my case I was also trying to go to water only from OCM - my chin broke out and my skin was dry and flaky. I went back to OCM at night and use the water only cloths in the mornings. If you can stand it give any new product a month (full cycle if you know what I mean) to see if it works for your skin. I lasted three weeks on the water only broke down and did an ocm and was back in love with ocm - now if I could find something to cover up the smell of oo! (that won't mess up the face).
Bottom line I'm not sorry I ordered, but I don't think I will order again.

Thanks to every one who answered and thanks to Raederle for the links. I did see those before I posted this but didn't find answers to the questions I posted.

I caved and ordered some. All three in fact. I'll let you know how they work for me.

Hope I didn't come across as snotty, EllisGurl. I didn't realize you'd already read the links. I had no "transition time" with the system. I did use both the pore gripper and the exfoliation cloth a tad too enthusiastically, which just left a little redder skin than usual. I had previously been pretty much OCM, with some Burts Bees soapbark cleanser when I couldn't bear the thought of the extra hot water on my face. My 17 year old daughter also seemed to have no real transition time, and she had used a variety of different cleansers over the past few months, mostly acne related ones.

I hope you enjoy the cloths and find them as beneficial as both of us have.

No Raederle, you did not come off as snotty . I hope my reply did not come off as snotty either.

Thanks for the answers, I appreciate your input.
