What's your favorite foot product? Mine is Nature's Gate Lotion. I buy it in bulk for about $.33 an ounce then add some drops of Peppermint Oil.:soppy:

Am Lactin and H20+ hand/foot treatment cream (can't recall the name). Both are absolutely outstanding and keep my feet super duper soft and callous-free. Two applications of either will get rid of "sandpaper feet." :soppy:

I also have a glycerin ointment that is lovely.

Love that avatar, btw. :D

Used to be the Body Shop's mango butter, back when it really was a butter (now it's just a mango-scented lotion). That stuff was super-moisturizing, and a little bit went a long way.

Now, I just use whatever lotion I have on hand. Or foot. :lafhard:

I like Dr. Scholls Pedicure Essentials Ultra Overnight foot cream. It really helps keep my feet soft esp. after walking around barefoot.

My favorite is a Mary Kay foot cream. I forget what it's called but it's texture is like vaseline and it's pink and smells nice and if you rub it into your heels and all the dry spots and wear socks every day for a week, then your feet are so soft and nice. It's time for me to do that again because I've started wearing sandals again and my heels look really awful.

I know I'm going to spell this wrong, but I really like Kerasal (I think that's it). I have the absolute worst cracked, dry heels... my chi meridians must really be off. This stuff is beyond amazing. I apply it at night and then cover with a pair of socks.

for my feet, it's unsalted butter all the way. I put on a plastic bag and a pair of socks, then sleep with it. When I wake up, they're warm and soft as a baby's butt.:lafhard:

Unsalted butter, eh? I may have to try that. I read once that a lard cream was one of the best for dry spots, so I whipped one up and sure enough, it was great. Butter would be far easier, though. ;) LOL

Oh, AND, one of my friends back in school put some of that Mary Kay pink stuff on a wart on her thumb and the next day it fell right off. She swore that she didn't do anything else to the wart and I know it had been there for ages.

Probably just a coincidence, but one that I will never forget. :lafhard:

Okay, now you're scaring me. Yikes. Well whatever it is sure is effective for dry feet, maybe it moisturized the wart off. LOL.

I make a mix of shea butter, jojoba, grapeseed, and avocado that I really like. Thinking about adding some peppermint. I'll just bet that would feel great on tired feet!

Another Amlactin user here. I put that on at night, and during the day I put Bodyglide on dry and frictiony areas.

I've heard good things about Bodyglide and was thinking about getting some for my thighs. You know...for running. :lafhard: I don't know what's in the Bodyglide - does it help to moisturize at all? I'd imagine it's probably just a mix of silicones.

That's what I thought too, Steph, but surprisingly, it is not made of silicone.
it contains plant-derived triglycerides including aloe vera extract and vitamin e.

Amlactin is a great exfoliator. I also like that stuff called Corn Husker something or another. It looks weird but it works really well. Currently, I am using some creme by Lancome not meant for feet. I didn't like it for my face so, like other stuff banished to the product graveyard, it now has nighttime foot duty.

The Mary Kay stuff sounds disturbing but strangely inviting. I'm going to check into it. :p

Wow! I think I may order some of the Sport Body Glide. I'm really surprised by the ingredients.

Avery, Corn Huskers Lotion is great! A couple of my mechanic friends use it and won't live without it.

I use the footbalm from Badger. Smells good and relaxes my feet.

I love the smell of Corn Huskers Lotion. Weird, but true.

I like the WalMart copycat version of Eucerin Cream. I use that stuff all over. Elbows, hands, face (around my EYES, I know that makes ya cringe, but it's true) and feet. Thick white goop, it works great and STAYS PUT!

I have a wart that I'd like to try that MaryKay stuff on... ;)

I might have to try Am Lactin. I've been using Urea cream, and it is okay, but nothing spectacular. I use unrefined shea from time to time, and my poor feet are so dry that my feet aren't the least bit greasy when I take my socks off in the morning :(

I received some Toadstool (http://item.express.ebay.com/Health-Beauty_Personal-Care_Bath-Body_TOADSTOOL-SOAPS-Whipped-Body-Butter-NAG-CHAMPA_W0QQitemZ9520096388QQptdnZBathQ20Q26Q20Body QQddnZHealthQ20Q26Q20BeautyQQadnZPersonalQ20CareQQ cmdZExpressItem)Rosemary Mint Body Butter (DD29 sent it to me for Mother's day) and the smell is divine. I've been putting a dab of that on the bottom of each foot right before bed. I'm using it on my hands and elbows also and it has such a calming effect, even with the peppermint smell.:soppy:

Help! Where the heck do you buy Am Lactin? I don't want to get it online, since I hate paying shipping. I tried Walgreen's, Rite Aid & Target, but none of them had it :(

Favorite thing for my feet, is soaking them in warm water with a few drops of Jojoba Oil, then drying them off, and slathering them with Coconut oil, wrapping them in plastic, and placing socks on my feet overnight. Next day, soft, smooth pretty feet.

CornHuskers Lotion overnite works wonders too. Water and glycerine are the first two ingredients.

I just use Lubriderm lotion with Shea & Cocoa butters. Because I'm a cheapskate =p

I got that for my legs (which are really dry and get ashy looking and gross and..it's summer and I'm wearing shorts so I need the lotion!) and just use it for my feet too.

It's nice though because I put it on everyday after hopping out of the shower, and sit down and give myself a nice foot massage whilst massaging it in to my feet (imagine that :gurn: )

I suppose I might have to try something different when I can afford to!

Help! Where the heck do you buy Am Lactin? I got mine at Costco. I think they still have it.

Thanks Hairstorm! Next time I'm at Costco, I'll pick some up. I found some Eucerin that has lactic acid and urea in it, and it is okay, but I was hoping for something a little thicker and creamier.

Okay then... I can always smear on some of my beloved chamomile goo that I can't remember the name of. Oh yeah, Herbacin! It has lots of silicone in it, and really seals in moisture (but it doesn't provide a lot in itself).

I picked up a little tin of wonder ointment at Big Lots.:lafhard: I've used it the last couple of nights and it's great. It has even softened those tiny rough spots on my elbows! It's called 'footex' . The ingredients are:

Menthol
Lecithin
fragrance
color (it's pink:soppy: )

I think I'll pick up some more on grocery day.

I've been using my home-made mix of shea butter and monoi oil on most of my skin, including feet. However, once summer started here (yippee, sun in London!) and I started wearing sandals every day, I realised my feet needed more moisture. As I've got loads of the above mixture to use up, instead of buying a proper foot cream, I decided to experiment with applying a cone-free conditioner underneath... (I really need that silly smiley here!) It's only been 2 days, but it seems to be working...

PS. Before I got into this whole home-made experimentation phase, I used Body Shop Body Butters too. My favourite scent was Coconut, but Hemp had the best moisturising effect - shame about the stink!

Ive used the Burt Bee's Foot cream with pretty good results. It smells nice. It works best when you wear socks to bed but I hate sleeping with anything on my feel so I sometimes do the sock thing in the evening and take the socks off before bed.

I found some great stuff called "Rescue Me" at a local bed and bath store. It comes in a tub and has the consistency of butter. I put some on my husband's (nasty, cracked) feet at bedtime. He said that his feet felt great in the morning.

I love foot butters (and body butter and hair butter and all butter ). I put some of my own smoothing butter on my feet last night after a series of nights with Eucerin and they feel like silk right now. :grinhappy:
