Okay- we need a Survivor thread!
I'm sure no one shed any tears last week over Johnny Fairplay going home. ::imagine my beloved twisted smiley here::
And how excited am I over seeing Yau-Man again! :whoohoo: I hope that even if he doesn't win it all on the show, that they will do something similiar like they did with Rupert and give him a million for being a true fan fave.

Has there ever been anyone who is as amazing as Ozzie? That man is part man, part gazelle, part dolphin and part monkey. Is there anything he can't do?
I of course didn't mind losing Fairplay either. I won't talk too much about tonight's show, because I don't want to spoil for the West Coasters, but my son and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Yao Man is one of my all-time faves too. I love every time they show a shot of his face.

I know what you mean. Don't want to spoil it for tonight. ;)
Just more to talk about tomorrow.
I like Ozzy too. But Yau-Man is da bomb!

Ozzy really is a monkeyfishman. And so darn adorable. I'm really glad that Fairplay is gone because he really really got on my nerves. Now I can just sit back and enjoy the rest of the series.
As for Yau-Man, you gotta love a man who always appears to be smiling.

Hi Leni! I love your new siggy with Xan, by the way.
I think it's shaping up to be a really good season. There's already some good drama with the Fan team. It's going to be spicy I think. Quite the blindside last night.
Yau-Man has been a favourite of my son and mine since the first time we laid eyes on him. We were delighted that he made it on this season. I really hope he goes far.

Hi franny and thanks! Yau-Man is one of my favorites too, but I think he's going to have his age working against him. I hope he does okay in the physical challenges.

I will never miss Fairplay and doubt he has "a bun in the oven" (or a girlfriend). I think that whole story was a ploy to get the fans to not hate him; to make him seem more caring and more human. But I'm a cynic and think he's basically a rotten person, so maybe you'll have to take that with a grain of salt.
For Yauman: I love him, love love love him. I am VERY glad he got to slam Fairplay's head into the side of a boat for the short time the little lying weasel was on the show. So this is a good thing.
For Ozzie: My lands, there have been a few fellas on Survivor over the years that just stand out for physical endurance and indomitable spirit. He's one. Andrew Savage is another. (plus, they are both simply handsome beyond belief.
Kimmy, do you hear me? Andrew Savage!!!!
I am a little bothered by the brutality of this blindsiding they're doing. I know, it's a game and to be expected, but seriously: to do it on the first oust? That just seems like a particularly cold bunch of people to me. I'm pulling for the Faves, Yauman and Ozzie in particular.

Loud and clear LJ! He would have made some great eye candy this time around :soppy:
Chet sure dodged a bullet this week. I thought sure he was a goner. :boggle: Seems the fans have learned to strike early and often as far as blindsiding. Looks like there will be lots of backstabbing there. :ooh:
I hope for Yau-Man's sake there arne't too many physically demanding challenges. I too worry about him. However, he fooled us the first time out.

I was so happy to see Fairplay go first off. I also doubt his girlfriend and baby story and I think the whole "Send me home" business was an attempt to play his tribe. And it backfired and got him ousted. :whoohoo: I am also happy to see Yao Man back. I so enjoy watching him.
Poor Mary. Never knew what hit her. But, I was happy to see one of the younger gals go, rather than one of the "old outcasts". I really think that Joel needs to go, next. The guy is loud, abrasive, bossy and a real threat, if they let him stay around too long.

I agree. I would like to see Joel gone next. To me, he's very obnoxious.

So pleased to see a Survivor thread I watched the first 2 episodes last night.
Pleased about Fairplay and would love to see Eliza gone next from that team.
What to you girls think of the guys on the Fans team a few longish haired men there and some cuties?
Ozzie and James I was pleased to see back both Fav's of mine but don't think they are playing smart teaming into little love couples, should be working on strategy not love. :purplex:
So want Joel gone next too on the Fans team.

Another episode tonight. I can't wait to see who gets booted this time. Mary was shocked when she was voted out.

Fairplay does actually have a girlfriend - Michelle Deighton - who just had a baby girl in January. That part was true.
All the same, I'm glad he's gone. Can't stand the weasel.

Oh. My. Gosh. It has spawned.
That's all. It's just been a week since I have said something hateful about him and I was about to burst. ;)
Oh, and "gosh it's good to see you, Iggy!"

It didn't surprise me who they booted. That person was seen as a huge threat to everyone.

My son and I were just about in tears to see who went home. It wasn't all that surprising, but it was unpleasant all the same. :depressed:
Good challenges last night, I thought. I really don't like Joel.

Strategically (sp?) I agree. But that's doesn't mean I have to like it. :pissed:
I hope the show lets us vote for our favorite like they did for the All-Stars game. Yau-Man would most certainly get it. Remember how the fans burst into applause when he first appeared? Everyone (except Cirie :evileye: ) loves Yau-Man. :soppy:
I will miss Yau-Man. :sob: And what a class act. Not a bad word to say during his 'goodbye' speech (or whatever they call it) at the end of the show.

It's almost Survivor time! I've been looking forward to it for the last two hours. I'm really hooked this season.
